A Message From Our Principal
Holy Rosary School was established in Monroe City, MO in 1901. Through the many years of its existence a long and strong tradition of providing a solid Catholic Education to the students of this area has been realized. Approximately 2000 students have graduated from Holy Rosary School since its early beginning.
The mission of the school is: To provide a Christ-centered academic environment designed to prepare students to become responsible, contributing members of society through faith, knowledge and self-discipline.
The success of students attending Holy Rosary School is due to the faithful support it continues to receive. This support comes from enthusiastic students, committed parents, very dedicated teachers, supportive parishioners, and competent leadership. With everyone working together, the goal is that each student will develop and nourish a strong relationship with Our Savior, Jesus Christ. It is hoped that each individual will know Jesus and follow His way.

Catholic Schools Across Our Diocese Thrive
The school communities of the Diocese of Jefferson City are today’s servants of God. They accept the continuing mission of proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ to the world and making disciples of all nations. The diocesan schools provide quality Catholic education in a Christ-like environment; guiding, enlightening, educating, and nurturing the children in their care.
In our diocese, an educational program is provided where students learn intellectual, spiritual, social, physical, and aesthetic like skills and attitudes. Continual development of the students ultimate earthly and spiritual potential is the primary design.
