Sr. Suzanne Walker Receives Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice
The Medal of the Cross of Honor for the Church and the Pope
In gratitude of Sr. Suzanne's many years of faithful and devoted service as a consecrated religious to the church and the education of our children, Bishop McKnight bestowed the Medal of the Cross of Honor for the Church and the Pope, Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice, on Sr. Suzanne. The current medal of this Papal honor was designed by Pope Paul VI. The medal bears the images of St. Peter and St. Paul. It is bestowed by decree of the Pope upon laity and religious for outstanding service to the Roman Catholic Church. Sr. Suzanne's certficate reads as follows:

REVEREND SISTER SUZANNE WALKER, OP
THE MEDAL OF THE CROSS OF HONOR
